The Ravens have waived FB Jason McKie and promoted C-OG Bryan Mattison from their practice squad to fill McKie's spot on the roster.

Mattison was with the Ravens for all four preseason games and has played in two games with Baltimore this season.

McKie has backed up FB Le'Ron McClain all season and did not receive any carries.

The way we see it

The Ravens' starting center, Matt Birk, is suffering from a knee injury and is questionable for Sunday's game against the Steelers. Chris Chester is the only other center on Baltimore's roster. Mattison, who is the son of defensive coordinator Greg Mattison, will provide depth on the offensive line.
