One of the few perks from a 4-12 season is the chance to coach one of the Senior Bowl teams, which Chan Gailey and his staff is taking full advantage of this year. The Bills' coaches will lead the South team, giving them an up-close-and-personal look at some of the top prospects available. The way we hear it, Gailey and GM Buddy Nix will use the opportunity to evaluate the players for their on-field talents, as well as see their work ethic and attitude during practices, meetings and other team events. For a staff trying to improve a roster that has holes at multiple positions, the chance to coach one of the teams was too good to pass up. "It is extra work on our coaches obviously, but it is a great opportunity to get an in-depth look at some of the top college players coming out and available for the draft this year," Gailey said.
