Of all the question marks that surround the Broncos' league-worst defense, we hear the cornerback position could become the No. 1 priority. CB Champ Bailey proved he is still an elite player last season, but the team pulled a long-term offer off the table earlier this year and, now that the veteran has become a free agent, it could become more challenging to get him back. But the issues extend beyond Bailey. Andre' Goodman, who signed a five-year, $20.4 million contract in March, 2009, was hampered by injuries all season and played in just eight games in ’10. With the 32-year-old's best years likely behind him, a source close to the team said it wouldn't be out of the question for Goodman to be released. Perrish Cox would be next in line, but the sexual assault charges he is facing could lead to a suspension. If the Broncos don't address this obvious need, they would be left with Syd'Quan Thompson and Nate Jones as their starting corners.
