Browns WR coach George McDonald has taken the same job with the University of Miami (Fla.), the school announced Tuesday.

McDonald spent two seasons coaching Cleveland's wide receivers. He originally joined the Browns as a quality-control coach but he was promoted to WRs coach early in his tenure.

Before joining the Browns, McDonald was an assistant at Bucknell, Northern Illinois, Stanford, Western Michigan and Minnesota.
