Erik Walden will have another opportunity to make his presence felt as a starter, with the Packers declaring Frank Zombo, who Walden replaced last week as the starter at right outside linebacker, one of the team’s eight inactives for the wild-card game at Philadelphia this afternoon.

In addition to Zombo, the inactives today for Green Bay are: FB Korey Hall, OG Evan Dietrich-Smith, OG Nick McDonald, DT Howard Green, CB Josh Gordy, SS Atari Bigby and QB Graham Harrell.

The way we see it

Team sources told us Zombo, who has been out with a knee injury, is still a week away from being able to play, which he will hopefully be able to do with a win today over the Eagles. Quinn Johnson can pack a wallop as a lead-blocking fullback in place of the injured Hall.
