Vikings DT Kevin Williams was named to the NFC Pro Bowl squad on Friday, replacing injured Lions DT Ndamukong Suh. It marks the fifth consecutive season that Williams has been recognized as a Pro Bowler and the sixth time overall in his eight-year NFL career.
Williams started all 16 games in 2010, totaling 49 tackles, nine tackles for loss, one sack, seven passes defended and one forced fumble. He has 49½ career sacks, the most among defensive tackles in the NFL since he entered the league in 2003.
RB Adrian Peterson is the only other Viking on this year's NFC squad.
