The Browns will interview Rams offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur on Friday, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and The (Cleveland) Plain Dealer reported Thursday.

Shurmur was slated to arrive in Cleveland Thursday, with the interview the next day.

Shurmur has been the Rams' offensive coordinator the last two seasons. Before that, he was the Eagles' QB coach from 2002-08.

The way we see it

The Browns are looking to revamp their offense, and Shurmur's experience in the West Coast offense preferred by president Mike Holmgren is likely a factor in his candidacy.
