The Cardinals fired defensive coordinator Bill Davis on Thursday after his second season in the position.
Davis has spent 19 years in the league as an assistant with seven different teams. He was the linebackers coach for the Cardinals in 2007 and 2008 before being promoted on Feb. 18, 2009.
The Cardinals finished 29th in the league in total defense, 20th in rushing defense and 23rd in passing defense. They allowed just over 27 points a game and went 5-11, finishing last in the NFC West.
