The Patriots announced Thursday that QB Tom Brady was named AFC Offensive Player of the Month for December by the NFL. It's his fourth player of the month honor in his career.

In December, the Patriots had a 4-0 record, and Brady had back-to-back 300-yard passing games against the Jets and Bears. He threw 11 TD passes and zero interceptions in the month.

With a 14-2 record, the Patriots are the No. 1 seed in the AFC playoffs and have a bye this week.
