Bills NT Kyle Williams has been added to the AFC Pro Bowl roster, replacing the Raiders' Richard Seymour.
Williams had 77 tackles and 5½ sacks for Buffalo in 2010, both career-highs. The fifth-year pro was one of the few bright spots on a Bills defense that ranked last in the league in rushing yards allowed per game.
"I think everybody on our football team is very excited about Kyle having an opportunity to play in the Pro Bowl," Bills head coach Chan Gailey said in a press release. "There's probably not another guy more deserving because of the year he's had, because of what he stands for, and how he plays the game. We're all excited for him."
The way we see it
Williams was a force on the Buffalo D-line this season and is deserving of making the Pro Bowl. Despite often being double- and triple-teamed by opposing blockers, he was constantly in the offensive backfield, halting running plays in their tracks and pressuring QBs.
