Here's a sampling of what Bears players are saying as they prepare for their Jan. 16 playoff game at Soldier Field.
QB Jay Cutler on whether he'll change his approach in the playoffs: "I'm not going to change anything. I don't think anybody in this building is going to change anything. We're going to go about it in the same manner we have the past 16 games and prepare the same and (offensive coordinator) Mike (Martz) is going to give us a game plan next Wednesday and we're going to go with it."
Head coach Lovie Smith on the need for veteran leadership in the playoffs: "Our veterans show great leadership throughout every situation we've been in. During the course of the season, you go through a lot. They always step up, answer the bell and they'll do the same this week. We have guys that have been in this situation before. We've been a No. 2 seed. We've had a bye week. They know how to deal with all the things that come along with it."
C Olin Kreutz on whether defenders look to hurt quarterbacks in the playoffs more than they do in the regular season: "It's playoff football. Guys are coming and they're coming hard. You may risk fines that you wouldn't risk in the regular season. That's just something that you have to understand when you play."
