The 49ers are expected to meet with Stanford head coach Jim Harbaugh today at an undisclosed location away from the team's facility, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter and Chris Mortensen.

The meeting comes just one day after Trent Baalke was named as San Francisco's general manager.

The way we see it

The 49ers seem willing to pay the high price it will take to get Harbaugh, who is their No. 1 target. The coach appears to be the top choice of the Bay Area fans, as well, because of his success at Stanford.
