What follows are a handful of noteworthy early-week quotes from Packers players following their playoff-clinching 10-3 victory over the Bears Sunday at Lambeau Field:

DE Ryan Pickett on the Packers earning a playoff berth with their win over the Bears: “We did it. Now we have a chance (to go the Super Bowl), just as good a chance as everybody else. That’s what we were playing for. This last two weeks has been like the playoffs for us, win or go home. We feel good about the way we’re playing now.” (Source: Green Bay Press-Gazette)

DT B.J. Raji on the Bears playing all of their starters: "I respect them for that. Even though they had their spot clinched, it's a football game. And if you love the game of football, you're going to play regardless. They did that, and you've got to tip your hats to them." (Source: Milwaukee Journal Sentinel)

QB Aaron Rodgers on the Packers staying focused in the postseason: “We can’t have the kind of inconsistent performances we’ve had this year that have forced us to be the No. 6 seed. When you’re playing in the playoffs, it’s the best of the best. We can’t expect them to hold every team to three points.” (Source:

OLB Clay Matthews on Green Bay being successful in the playoffs: “If you can learn anything from last year, I think we were the hottest team in the NFL and came out and gave up 51 points or something along those lines. That’s not indicative of our defense and of our team. So if we can learn anything, it’s to keep this rolling, we can’t back off. We earned the right to be in (the playoffs). Now it’s about taking it to the next step and winning the first game.” (Source: Green Bay Press-Gazette)

CB Charles Woodson on the defensive reserves stepping up: "A lot of guys, probably names you haven't heard this season, have come up big for us. (LB Erik) Walden had a huge day for us. You haven't heard his name a lot this year. He's a new guy on this team, but he stepped up big.” (Source: Milwaukee Journal Sentinel)
