Vikings QB Brett Favre will end his career as a spectator, as he is inactive for Sunday's season finale against the Lions.

Favre, who saw his record streak of 297 consecutive starts end in Week 14, returned in Week 15 but sustained a concussion. Joe Webb will make his second start for the Vikings.

Meanwhile, with the Steelers looking to win the AFC North crown, S Troy Polamalu (ankle) is active. The Steelers clinch the division if they beat the Browns, who will have RB Peyton Hillis (ribs) active.

The Ravens, who need to beat the Bengals and get a Steelers loss to win the AFC North, will have TE Todd Heap, WR Derrick Mason and S Ed Reed active.

The Saints, who have an outside shot at winning the NFC South if they beat the Bucs and get a Falcons loss (a big "if" considering Atlanta is playing the Panthers), have ruled out WR Marques Colston, RB Pierre Thomas and TE Jeremy Shockey.

The Jets and Patriots know their seed for the playoffs and are not taking any chances in Week 17. The Jets ruled RBs Shonn Greene and LaDainian Tomlinson and CBs Antonio Cromartie and Darrelle Revis inactive for their game against the Bills.

The Patriots, who saw WR Wes Welker tear his ACL and MCL in last year's season finale, ruled Welker, WR Deion Branch and TE Aaron Hernandez inactive for their game against the Dolphins.
