Take a quick stroll down memory lane with PFW for a recap of the Bears' Week 17 contests each of the last five seasons:

2009: The Bears were in control for the majority of the game in their 37-23 win over the Lions, but things got interesting in the fourth quarter. WR Calvin Johnson's touchdown catch tied the game at 20 with 9:37 to play, but Chicago answered right back when QB Jay Cutler found TE Desmond Clark in the endzone to give the Bears the lead. The Lions scored a field goal to cut Chicago's lead to four, but Cutler hit WR Devin Aromashodu on a 12-yard TD pass to help Chicago pull away before a Robbie Gould field goal put the game out of reach.

2008: Texans WR Andre Johnson was too much for the Bears to handle in a 31-24 loss to Houston. Chicago went up 10-0 in the first quarter, thanks in part to a touchdown pass from QB Kyle Orton to WR Brandon Lloyd. But a pair of Johnson touchdown catches gave the Texans a lead before halftime that they would not relinquish.

2007: A pair of Devin Hester touchdowns helped the Bears past the Saints 33-25. The Bears led by three with less than two minutes remaining in the first half when Orton found Hester for a 55-yard TD pass to extend the Chicago lead. The Saints would add a field goal just before the break, but Hester struck again — this time on a 64-yard punt-return touchdown — to help the Bears seal the win.

2006: Five interceptions cost the Bears in a 26-7 loss to the Packers. QB Rex Grossman completed just 2-of-12 passes for 33 yards with three interceptions before being replaced by Brian Griese. Griese didn't fare much better, completing 5-of-15 passes and throwing two picks, but he did find WR Mark Bradley on a 75-yard TD pass.

2005: QB Jeff Blake replaced a struggling Kyle Orton in the Bears' 34-10 loss to the Vikings. Orton completed just 6-of-14 passes for 59 yards before being replaced by Blake, who was more effective the rest of the way. Blake finished 7-of-8 for 44 yards and hooked up with WR Justin Gage for a four-yard TD pass in the fourth quarter.
