The strength of the Browns' offense is their line, and the Pro Bowl voting bears that out. OLT Joe Thomas earned his fourth Pro Bowl nod in as many NFL seasons and is the only Brown slated to go to Hawaii. Thomas, whom the Browns had particular success running behind this season, has not missed a snap in four seasons in Cleveland. He has surrendered four sacks this season, according to STATS Inc. "His consistency, in terms of performance and playing that position, that's not easy to do," head coach Eric Mangini said. C Alex Mack and OLG Eric Steinbach were named Pro Bowl second alternates. Mack, who's in his second NFL season, is regarded as one of the better young players at his position. Steinbach, who's in his fourth season in Cleveland, has very good athleticism and is effective on the move. Mack and Steinbach, like Thomas, have started every game this season.
