Here's a matchup to watch in the Week 17 game between the Patriots and Dolphins:

Dolphins OLB Cameron Wake vs. Patriots ORT Sebastian Vollmer

Vollmer has played at a Pro-Bowl level this season in his second year, looking like the left tackle of the future for the Patriots. Wake, who is a shoe-in for the Pro Bowl and having a career year, generally rushes against an opponent's right tackle, and will be going after Vollmer on Sunday.

Wake leads the league with 14 sacks and would certainly like to finish his season with the sack title. Vollmer will not only want the challenge before the playoffs, but the entire O-line will aim to keep Tom Brady off his back to avoid any injury.

Wake is a relentless rusher, using speed and perseverance to get to the quarterback. Even if you put Wake on the ground, he will still make an effort to get after the signalcaller from his back. He recorded one sack of Brady in their Week Four meeting.

The Patriots' O-line has been superb this season, allowing just 25 sacks this season. To keep the flow of the offense going, the Pats will need to slow down a Dolphins pass rush that has 39 sacks in 2010, and it's anchored by Wake. It should be a great matchup between two budding stars.
