Ravens rookie LB Sergio Kindle was arrested and charged with drunken driving early Sunday morning.
According to the Baltimore Sun, Kindle was pulled over at 4:09 a.m. and ticketed for speeding, driving under the influence of alcohol and failure to obey traffic control devices. He was released after posting $10,000 bond.
"I want to apologize to the organization, because I don't want to bring a negative light to the team. It was my mistake. I can't take it back now. I don't know what's going to happen from here," Kindle told the paper.
Kindle has not played this season after suffering a skull fracture three days before training camp when he tumbled down the stairs at a friend's house. His status for 2011 is still in question.
The Ravens selected Kindle in the second round of April's draft. He was their first overall selection.
