Buccaneers CB Ronde Barber hasn't said whether he will continue playing after this season, but we hear the Bucs will welcome him back in 2011 if he decides to put off retirement. He's proved that he's still an effective player this season, and head coach Raheem Morris recently said he hopes Barber doesn't call it quits after 14 seasons. Barber will be a free agent after the season, and there's no indication that he wants to explore opportunities to play for a different team. Tampa Bay has a couple of developing young corners in second-year veteran E.J. Biggers, who was promoted to the starting lineup after Aqib Talib was placed on injured reserve following a Week 13 game, and rookie third-round pick Myron Lewis. They'd be the top in-house candidates to replace Barber if he retires, but we're told that the club would prefer to let them learn and play behind Barber for another season.
