And here's to you, Michael Robinson. The way we hear it, the former Niner, who was picked up in early September, has quietly become a very key player for the Seahawks — in a lot of different ways. "He's the kind of player that you look at and say, 'Who wouldn't want this guy?' " one team insider said of Robinson, whose value appears to have increased after he missed five games with a hamstring injury. "He's been one of the team's best players on special teams, and he's become a very reliable lead blocker at the fullback position. You can throw the ball to him on trick plays and, as a former quarterback at Penn State, you can even use him in the Wildcat. On a team that puts a premium on versatile players, he's been a great addition, not only on the field but off of it." Despite arriving on the scene late, Robinson, we're told, wasted no time becoming one of Seattle's locker-room leaders.
