Jets head coach Rex Ryan recently told the New York media, "I think every single player will have an impact on our games. I think especially as you get down into games in December and January, that's when you're going to notice your depth. We have a deep roster." That was never more evident than the Week 15 win over the Steelers, when reserve CB and special-teams gunner Marquice Cole was the team's most important player.

Against Pittsburgh, Cole recorded two tackles, including one on the final drive of the game when the Steelers were looking to take the lead. He had one pass defensed, on Ben Roethlisberger's final pass attempt in the endzone with no time remaining. And earlier in the fourth quarter, Cole downed a Steve Weatherford punt at the Steelers' three; on the very next play Jason Taylor stuffed a Mewelde Moore run for a safety.

Injuries in the Jets' secondary have forced the second-year player into more action, a role Cole has embraced with his recent play.
