A rib injury kept Broncos QB Kyle Orton out of action in Week 15, but the veteran signalcaller was healthy enough to start the final two games of the season, the way we hear it. Orton has expressed his disappointment with the organization's decision to play QB Tim Tebow and doesn't know if he wants to remain in Denver with so many question marks surrounding the team. A source close to the team told PFW that Orton expects to be the starter if he does return next year, as he has done nothing to deserve losing the job. But a long list of decisions have to be made before that question can be answered, including finding a new coach and possibly a general manager. One daily team observer said there is a visible disconnect between Orton and Tebow. While Orton has been willing to help the rookie when needed, Orton has made it clear all season that he wanted to finish what he started with this team.
