Jets WR Santonio Holmes was held out of practice on Wednesday with turf toe.
Holmes likely will be limited in practice the rest of the week, but is expected to play against the Bears on Sunday.
The way we see it
Holmes has struggled as of late, catching 15-169-0 over his last three games. New York will need a strong effort from its receivers in Chicago, as the running game likely will be slowed by the Bears third-ranked run "D."
If Holmes gets to the point where he is unable to play, it could provide a boost for WR Braylon Edwards and TE Dustin Keller. Both have seen drop-offs in production since Holmes returned to the team in Week Five.
