The Broncos have placed FB Spencer Larsen on injured reserve and promoted OG Stanley Daniels to the active roster.
Larsen suffered an ankle injury in the Broncos' 39-23 loss to the Raiders last week. He was the only true fullback on the roster.
Daniels signed with Denver in May and started the first four games of the season on the offensive line. He was released on Dec. 11 when the team added PK Steve Hauschka because of a groin injury to PK Matt Prater.
The way we see it
The Broncos likely will play with three wide receivers with the absence of Larsen. RB Knowshon Moreno (ankle) is still a question mark, which could force Denver to rely heavily on QB Tim Tebow and the passing game Sunday against the Texans.
