Cardinals veteran OLB Joey Porter has a significant triceps injury, head coach Ken Whisenhunt said Monday.
Porter left Sunday's 19-12 loss to the Panthers with the injury and further tests are planned. The four-time Pro Bowler has 50 tackles and is tied for the team lead with five sacks this season.
The way we see it
Porter has been a big disappointment, but the Cardinals are very thin at linebacker. In his place, look for rookie O'Brien Schofield, who they really like, to see lots of action.
