Packers-Patriots prediction

Even if Aaron Rodgers would have been able to play against the Patriots, I couldn’t see the Packers being able to pull off what would be considered a major upset on a national stage. That said, even with Matt Flynn under center instead of A-Rod, I think the Packers will at least make a game out of it and cover the double-digit spread.

I think Green Bay’s defense will turn it up a notch the way it did back in Week Eight, when it pitched that amazing shutout on the road against the Jets. But the Pats and Brady are just too good at home, and at the end of the night, I think they will put the Packers’ playoff hopes in even greater jeopardy than they already are after that very costly slip-up in Detroit last week.

Prediction: Patriots 21, Packers 16
