Take a quick stroll down memory lane with PFW for a recap of the Patriots' Week 15 contests each of the last five seasons:
2009: A 14-point second quarter gave the Patriots the edge they needed in a 17-10 win over the Bills. Trailing by a field goal after one quarter of play, QB Tom Brady hooked up with WR Randy Moss on a 15-yard touchdown pass to give New England the lead. RB Laurence Maroney added another TD later in the quarter and PK Stephen Gostkowski buried the Bills with a third quarter field goal.
2008: The Patriots dominated the Raiders in a 49-26 win, scoring 35 points in the first half. QB Matt Cassel got New England going with a pair of TD passes to RB Kevin Faulk and Moss, and RB Sammy Morris followed their scores with a 29-yard rushing touchdown to put the Pats up 21-0. The two teams traded touchdowns the rest of the way, but New England's lead was to great for the Raiders to overcome.
2007: S Eugene Wilson's first-quarter pick-six gave the Patriots the lift they needed in a 20-10 defeat of the Jets. The defense led the way for New England, as New York's lone touchdown came on a blocked punt return. But Maroney followed the Jets' TD with a rushing score of his own, allowing the Pats to pull away.
2006: A pair of Faulk TDs helped the Pats to a 40-7 win over the Texans. The running back scored twice in the first quarter, once on an 11-yard run and later on a 43-yard pass from Brady. New England led 34-0 before Houston finally got on the board in the third quarter. The Pats defense picked off Texans QB David Carr four times.
2005: Three Brady touchdown passes led the way in New England's 28-0 shutout against the Buccaneers. Brady's first TD pass went to OT Tom Ashworth on a one-yard toss, with the second two going to RB Corey Dillon and WR David Givens. Givens finished with 6-137-1 and Dillon scored another touchdown on the ground.
