Likely to the Eagles delight, the league took notice of a violent hit on Michael Vick.

Cowboys LB Anthony Spencer was fined $12,500 for his personal foul penalty on Vick in Sunday's 30-27 loss to Philly. Spencer hit Vick in the head area after the QB released the pass. Spencer hit Vick near the sideline earlier in the game and he was not penalized or fined for that hit.

The Eagles had been calling for the league to pay close attention to the type of hits Vick has been sustaining.

Jaguars DB Will Middleton was also fined this week. Middleton was docked $5,000 for a helmet-to-helmet hit on Raiders QB Jason Campbell.
