The Bengals failed to sell enough tickets for the "Battle of Ohio" game against the Browns to be broadcast on local television.

It will Cincinnati's third consecutive home game blacked out. The game will not be shown in Cincinnati and within a 90-mile radius of the city.

The 2-11 Bengals have lost 10 in a row and had its 57-game sellout streak broken earlier this year when they hosted the Bills.

The way we see it

It's been an extremely disappointing season for the Bengals that has seen underachieving play and lots of injuries, and the fact that they couldn't sell out a game against neighboring Cleveland adds to the misery of the season.
