The Vikings have agreed to terms with QB Patrick Ramsey, agent Jimmy Sexton told the (St. Paul) Pioneer Press today.

Ramsey has played for seven teams in his nine NFL seasons. He'll join the Vikings for their Monday-night game against the Bears, one he could end up playing in.

Starter Brett Favre is dealing with a shoulder injury and numbness in his right hand. Tarvaris Jackson, Favre's replacement, has a sore turf toe. Third-stringer Joe Webb has a bothersome hamstring.

Ramsey has started 24 games in his career but none since 2005. He spent time this season with the Jaguars and Dolphins but didn't take a snap with either team. His last game action in the NFL was in 2008 with the Broncos, when he completed 2-of-3 passes for 19 yards and lost a fumble.
