The Chargers avoided a blackout for their Thursday-night game against the 49ers.

San Diego announced that enough tickets have been sold to avoid a local TV blackout for the game. It's the third straight week the Chargers sold enough tickets to avoid a blackout. They received a 24-hour extension on Monday to sell their remaining tickets.

At 7-6, the Chargers are one game back of the division-leading Chiefs. The 49ers are 5-8 and also just one game back in their division, the NFC West.
