The Buccaneers officially placed DT Gerald McCoy and OLB Quincy Black on injured reserve Tuesday, adding to the injury total for a team that has suffered a lot of them over the past few weeks.
In the Week 14 win over the Redskins, McCoy, the third overall pick in this year's draft, hurt his arm and will undergo surgery to repair a torn left biceps. Black suffered a broken arm vs. Washington.
According to Buccaneers fan site The Pewter Report, the team is planning on signing LB Tyrone McKenzie from their practice squad. A former third-round pick of the Patriots, MacKenzie has yet to play in an NFL game after tearing his ACL.
