The Week 16 Vikings-Eagles game has been flexed to the Sunday-night prime-time slot.

The game was originally scheduled for 1 p.m. ET and will now have an 8:20 p.m. ET kickoff on NBC's "Sunday Night Football."

The scheduled Sunday-night game between the Chargers and Bengals will be moved to 4:05 p.m. ET.

The Seahawks-Bucs game was also flexed. Originally scheduled for 1:00 p.m. ET, that game will now start at 4:15 p.m ET. Both teams are alive in the NFC playoff hunt.

The way we see it

Before the season, the Chargers-Bengals game looked like a matchup between two teams fighting for playoff bids with plenty of star power, but Cincinnati's 10-game losing streak makes that game very unappealing. The Vikings need a miracle to make the playoffs, but the Eagles will be very much in the thick of things and the game provides a potential Michael Vick-Brett Favre matchup — which should attract many more viewers.
