Chinedum Ndukwe has been placed on I.R., ending the season for the Bengals safety, the seventh Cincinnati defensive back to have his year ended due to injury.

Ndukwe, who started six games for the Bengals this season, hurt his knee in the Week 14 loss to the Steelers. He finished the year with 60 tackles, one sack and one interception.

Overall he is the 15th Cincinnati player to be placed on injured reserve.

The way we see it

In the midst of a 10-game losing streak, the last thing the Bengals need is another serious injury. But with Ndukwe going down, the team will have to search the waiver wire for a quality defensive back for the final weeks of the season.
