Sunday night's Eagles-Cowboys game scored the best overnight rating in "Sunday Night Football" history.

The 30-27 Eagles win registered a 16.5 overnight rating and a 25 share. It tied the rating of the Giants-Cowboys Week Two game in 2009 — the first game in the new Dallas Cowboys Stadium.

The overnight rating was a 20 percent increase over last year's Week 14 Eagles-Giants game and a 77 percent increase from 2008's Week 14 Redskins-Ravens game.

"Sunday Night Football" is now a perfect 14-for-14 in defeating all other competition on television and being the most-watched Sunday-night show.
