His name hasn't been mentioned often this season, but Michael Turner is playing like he did in 2008. In other words, he's having a monster fantasy campaign.

The fact that he has not had any eye-popping outings has caused Turner to fly under the radar, but that might not be the case after Sunday. "The Burner" had a workmanlike 28 carries for 112 yards and three TDs in a win over the Panthers, his most prolific fantasy day of 2010. With that effort, Turner is now up to 1,174 yards and 11 TDs on the season.

After his '08 explosion, Turner missed five games last season to injury, causing him to slip further than he should in fantasy drafts. But he has rebounded in a major way this year, rushing for 100 or more yards in seven contests and scoring multiple times in three games. While QB Matt Ryan has received most of the credit for Atlanta's terrific campaign, Turner certainly deserves to have his name in the conversation as well.

With the Seahawks, Saints and Panthers left on the schedule, Turner is set up to finish '10 on a roll. That very well could lead many of his owners to fantasy titles and should put him back among the fantasy elite heading into 2011.
