Packers QB Aaron Rodgers is out for the game with a concussion. Backup QB Matt Flynn has replaced him.
Rodgers sustained the concussion when he was hit while scrambling in the second quarter of the Week 14 game against the Lions.
The game is scoreless at halftime. Rodgers completed 7-of-11 passes for 46 yards and an interception that should have been a big catch by WR Greg Jennings.
The way we see it
With the Packers battling for an NFC playoff spot, they cannot afford a loss to the Lions, and being tied at halftime with Flynn playing the rest of the way is not going to help their cause. Flynn is in his third year and has attempted 20 career passes.
This is awful luck for Rodgers' fantasy owners who are likely in the first round of their fantasy playoffs and expected big points from Rodgers in the dome. Same goes for owners of Jennings.
