The Patriots do look like the better team on paper, and Bill Belichick will make sure his team is focused and ready to play, even after a short week following an emotional Monday-night win over the Jets.

This won't be the first time this season that the Bears beat a team that they can't match on pure talent, though.

The Bears' defense has carried the team for much of the season, and it will again if it tackles well and keeps QB Tom Brady's short completions from becoming long gains. The Bears' offense is hitting its stride, and RB Matt Forté will have a productive day running the ball, helping Chicago secure its 10th victory.

Prediction: Bears 21, Patriots 17
