The Patriots have announced their inactives for Sunday's game against the Bears, highlighted by DL Mike Wright missing his fourth consecutive game.
Wright (concussion) leads the team with 5½ sacks. WR Taylor Price, RB Thomas Clayton, CB Jonathan Wilhite (hip), OL Rich Ohrnberger, OL Mark LeVoir, DT Myron Pryor (back) and CB Chevis Jackson are also inactive.
Pryor has not played since Week Nine and Wilhite has been out since Week 10.
For the Bears, CB Josh Moore, RB Kahlil Bell, LB Pisa Tinoisamoa, OL Herman Johnson, OL Edwin Williams, TE Desmond Clark, DT Marcus Harrison and QB Caleb Hanie are inactive. No surprise there as Tinoisamoa was ruled out earlier in the week. LB Nick Roach is active.
The way we see it
Rookie DL Kyle Love and Brandon Deaderick are active and will rotate on the D-line. DE-OLB Eric Moore is active for the first time for New England and could help on the defensive front. Jackson was signed Friday so it's no surprise he is inactive. Darius Butler will continue to serve as the team's third corner with Wilhite out.
The Bears get help at linebacker with Roach being healthy, but their inactives each week show how they have avoided the injury bug this season.
