Let's take a look at the Vikings' fantasy prospects as they get set to face the Giants on Sunday:
WR Percy Harvin remains a mystery with his continued migraines, so don't expect much even if Harvin plays.
The big target in this game is likely to be Sidney Rice, who broke out last week and showed he can be effective with Tarvaris Jackson at quarterback most of the game.
That leads us to the QB position, where Brett Favre really does seem injured, not just hurt. Hurt means he's playing; it has meant that for 20 years. But injured, which his shoulder appears to be considering he has missed practice this week, gives you serious pause. Playing or not, Favre looks like a poor matchup against the Giants' aggressive front, which has knocked out five QBs this season and is sure to pressure mercilessly.
There never is any doubt about Adrian Peterson being in your lineup, assuming he's healthy, and he showed he can be effective even in a part-time role last week. Keep starting him per usual.
