The most noteworthy Packers-related development revealed in the official Packers-Lions injury report in advance of their game this Sunday in Detroit was that S Atari Bigby was at least able to practice on a limited basis after not participating at all in the Wednesday practice. Five other Packers participated in the practice on a limited basis for the second straight day — OLT Chad Clifton (knees, concussion), FS Nick Collins (shoulder), LOLB Clay Matthews (shin), DE Ryan Pickett (ankle) and CB Charles Woodson (toe, ankle).
For the Lions, there were three changes from the Wednesday report, the most significant being that OT Gosder Cherilus (knee) did not participate on Thursday after participating fully in the Wednesday practice. In addition, RB Jahvid Best (toe) and LB Isaiah Ekejiuba (knee) both participated on a limited basis Thursday after not participating in the Wednesday practice.
The way we see it
With Kyle Vanden Bosch being placed on injured reserve yesterday and Cherilus apparently hurting, it seems like the Lions are dropping like flies. On a positive note for Detroit, it looks like Best might be able to play, which increases its very long shot at an upset.
