PFW delivers a handful of late-week noteworthy quotes from Packers players with the Week 14 game against the Lions in Detroit fast approaching:

QB Aaron Rodgers on his level of satisfaction with rookie RB James Starks: “I’d like to see it first in practice, I really would. Say what you will about Ryan Grant, obviously he’s a lot more appreciated in injury than in health, unfortunately, but that guy, no one can ever question his practice habits. Look at Donald Driver and Greg Jennings, Jordy Nelson, Brett Swain. Those guys practice as well as anybody. Every day they bring it. Jermichael (Finley) became that player this season.” (Source: Green Bay Post-Gazette)

Backup QB Matt Flynn on Rodgers: “He’s throwing the ball extremely accurate right now and he’s throwing the deep ball as well as I’ve ever seen anyone. I’m sure his deep-ball percentage is as good as his quick throws.” (Source: Green Bay Post-Gazette)

SS Charlie Peprah on the Lions’ talented roster: "They're a 2-10 team with 10-2 talent. They've been drafting high for a number of years now. For whatever reason, they're 2-10. They haven't won the close ones, but they've been moving the ball on everybody they've played and if we don't come to play we will lose." (Source: Milwaukee Journal Sentinel)

WR Jordy Nelson on the coaches keeping the players focused: "They constantly yell at us. No, it's both the coaching staff and guys in this locker room. Everybody takes it week by week. I know that's a cliché, but that's what we do. The coaches stay on us. They never let you get too big of a head. That's their job." (Source: Milwaukee Journal Sentinel)

FS Nick Collins on how good the Lions really are: “They’re probably the best 2-10 team you’ll ever see. They’ve got a lot of talent. They bring it every Sunday. They’re just not finishing games. We know what we’ve got in front of us.” (Source:
