I need your help. I'm going up against the No. 2 team in the league this week in the first round of the playoffs. I'm having trouble deciding whom to use in my flex spot. My options are Tashard Choice, James Jones or Thomas Jones. I also have Jahvid Best and Pierre Thomas, but it doesn't appear either of them has the potential to do much this week. Whom would you play in the flex spot?
I'm fully on the Choice bandwagon, Mike, and I suggest you hop on as well.
The Dallas back saw increased opportunities last week with Marion Barber (calf) sidelined, and he took full advantage of them. Choice ran for 100 yards and a TD on 19 carries at Indianapolis, causing Cowboys owner Jerry Jones to say after the game that the rusher would remain a part of the offense moving forward. With Barber unlikely to play this Sunday night, I fully expect Choice to split carries with Felix Jones against the Eagles and produce solid numbers.
I certainly like him more than any of your other options. James Jones is too hit-or-miss, and Thomas Jones is going up against a good run defense in San Diego that has already shut him down once this season And I don't know how much you can trust a banged-up Best or a guy just returning from a multiple-week layoff in Thomas. Choice easily has the most upside of the bunch.
I've got three great running back choices in Maurice Jones-Drew, Peyton Hillis and LeSean McCoy. I can only start two and was looking for advice for Week 14. What do you suggest? Thanks.

That must be a nice trio to own, Stray Dog. No matter what combo you start most weeks, I'm guessing it works out pretty well for you.
That's the case again this week, as none of them has a particularly poor matchup. However, two of the three do jump out at me. M.J.D. has been one of the hottest backs in the league as of late, rushing for 100-plus yards in five consecutive contests, including a career-high 186 yards last week at Tennessee. I don't see how you can keep him out of your lineup against the Raiders this Sunday.
As matchups go, you won't find a better one than Hillis has this week. He faces a Bills run defense that ranks dead last in the league, allowing an unbelievable 170.9 yards per game. Considering how well Hillis has performed and how consistent he has been, he might be the most appealing fantasy play in the entire league this week.
That leaves McCoy, who is having a tremendous season but looks to be the least appealing of this trio in Week 14. The Cowboys have been decent against the run, so it's not the best matchup for him, but I'd still recommend using him in most leagues. Just not this one.
