Browns S Abram Elam likes the work ethic of rookies S T.J. Ward and CB Joe Haden. Ward, as Elam did when he first earned a starting job, is also playing regularly on special teams, and he's aware of how much effort that takes. "But he hasn't complained once," Elam said of Ward, the Browns' leading tackler on defense. "He's always been wide-eyed, wanting to learn and wanting to continue to get better. ... He's steadily improving each and every week, and I just try to watch film and communicate with T.J. some of the things that I've learned along the way, and I think his best football has yet to come." Haden, the Browns' breakout star of the second half, is "another guy that wants to learn, is eager to learn and does everything he can to get better," Elam said. "I think Joe's going to be a special player, and he has a good knack for making plays, and he's definitely helping our defense out."
