Cullen Jenkins, who suffered a late-game calf injury last Sunday, is not the only Packer who will be sidelined for sure for the game this Sunday in Detroit. FB Korey Hall, who hurt his knee in the same gate, also has been ruled out in Week 14, according to the official Packers-Lions Wednesday injury report.
Three Packers players did not participate in the Wednesday practice — S Atari Bigby (hamstring), CB Pat Lee (ankle) and S Anthony Smith (ankle). Six others participated on a limited basis — OLT Chad Clifton (knees/concussion), FS Nick Collins (shoulder), OLB Clay Matthews (shin), DE Ryan Pickett (ankle) and CB Charles Woodson (toe/ankle).
For the Lions, five players did not participate in Wednesday's practice — RB Jahvid Best (toe), LB Isaiah Ekejiuba (knee), QB Shaun Hill (right finger), QB Matthew Stafford (right shoulder) and DE Kyle Vanden Bosch (neck), who was then placed on injured reserve, ending his season.
The way we see it
As big a blow as Jenkins’ injury is to Green Bay’s defense, it appears the Lions are in even worse shape from an injury standpoint entering this game with Best possibly not healthy enough to play and Vanden Bosch done for the season.
