Here's a look at a key matchup heading into this Sunday's Week 14 battle between the Packers and Lions:

Lions DTs Ndamukong Suh, Corey Williams and Sammie Hill vs. Packers OGs Josh Sitton and Daryn Colledge and C Mike Wells

It looks like the Lions made a wise decision in selecting Suh second overall in the 2010 draft. Despite facing double-teams on a regular basis, Suh leads all NFL tackles in sacks with eight. Strong as a bull with a nasty attitude — perhaps too nasty at times, as evidenced by his late penalty that proved so costly against the Bears last week, whether it was justified or not — Suh is also tied with DE Kyle Vanden Bosch for third on the Lions in tackles with 49 with 3½ stuffs and a pair of pass breakups.

Williams, who formerly played for the Packers and is a good fit in Gunther Cunningham's slanting 4-3 system, also has 3½ stuffs, with a sack and three pass breakups thrown in for good measure. Hill (1½ sacks and 2½ stuffs) is a dangerous third tackle with better natural pass-rush ability than Williams. In Detroit's Week Four 28-26 loss to the Packers in Green Bay, Suh and Williams each had three tackles, with Suh also registering a sack and Williams also registering a tackle for loss.

Green Bay's offensive line is coming off a collectively strong effort against the 49ers that featured greatly improved run blocking. Sitton continues to quietly punish the opposition and play at what many observes believe to be a Pro Bowl level. Wells has been rock-steady, as well as a masterful accomplice to QB Aaron Rodgers when it comes to delivering hard counts designed to take advantage of jumpy D-linemen.

Colledge, who struggled at times in his matchup last week against rugged Niners DL Justin Smith, remains the line's weakest link but has been more than adequate for the most part so far this season.
