Following an impressive rookie campaign in which he started all 16 games and led the Jaguars in interceptions (four), CB Derek Cox's 2010 season didn't begin as promisingly. Cox was benched at halftime of the Week One win over the Broncos and did not regain his starting job until Week Seven. Although head coach Jack Del Rio said the benching was a result of Cox losing confidence, we hear it was actually Del Rio who lost confidence in his young corner. One thing is clear: Cox has responded well, coming on very strong since his return to the starting lineup. In the Week 13 win over the Titans, Cox notched his third interception of the season on an underthrown Kerry Collins pass attempt and broke up another pass in the endzone intended for Randy Moss. The latter play, we hear, is a great example of why Cox is playing so well — he is doing a better job attacking balls in the air.
