The NFL named Browns P Reggie Hodges the AFC Special Teams Player of the Week for Week 13, the league announced Wednesday.

Hodges, 28, averaged an AFC-best 43.3 net yards on nine punts in Cleveland's 13-10 win vs. Miami on Sunday. He leads the NFL with 13 punts downed inside the 10-yard-line and had one punt downed on the Dolphins' 1 on Sunday.

Hodges, who's in the midst of his finest season as a pro and recently signed a contract extension with Cleveland, has punted 63 times this season, with a 44.3-yard gross average and a 39.4-yard net average.
