What follows are a handful of noteworthy early-week quotes from Packers players following their convincing 34-16 victory over the Niners in Week 13:

DE Ryan Pickett on outplaying the 49ers: “We out-physicaled a team that prides itself on being physical. Felt like we came out and played more physical than them, especially up front. Their line, watching them on tape, they got a lot of push, they pushed around a lot of the teams. That came right down our alley, they tried to play power ball with us, and we stopped ’em.” (Source: Green Bay Press-Gazette)

Rookie RB James Starks on the opportunity to get substantial carries against the Niners: "I was just anxious to get out there and play with my teammates, play with 'A-Rod' (Aaron Rodgers), play for the fans here at Lambeau. It was an exciting moment for me. I just took it all in. I was like an excited little kid out there." (Source: Milwaukee Journal Sentinel)

QB Aaron Rodgers on Driver’s 61-yard touchdown reception in Week 13: “It was one of the best plays I’ve ever been a part of. It was incredible. It’s something we talked about. That play was kind of an example of kind of the way things have been going the last few weeks for us on offense. When he was at about the 20, I was kind of thinking, ‘Go down, go down, don’t get drilled.’ And when he broke another tackle I was hoping to get it in the end zone. Like I said, one of the most amazing plays I’ve ever seen here.” (Source:

Driver on Starks’ 18-73-0 performance: "That's a good running back. He showed what he could do. I just want to see more of it. He'll get his opportunity once again next week (at Detroit)." (Source:

CB Tramon Williams on where the Packers stand three-quarters of the way through the season: “Eight-and-four, pretty good record so far. But we’ve got a long ways to go. We all in here know that. Everyone’s up for the challenge.” (Source: Green Bay Press-Gazette)
