The Patriots' offensive, defensive and special-teams players of the week from their Week 13 win over the Jets.

Offense: QB Tom Brady

The leading candidate for the league's MVP award won a record 26th consecutive home game and finally mastered Rex Ryan's vaunted defense. Brady completed 21-of-29 passes for 326 yards with four touchdowns and no interceptions, good for a 148.9 QB rating. Brady has not thrown a pick in seven consecutive games. He has been near-perfect during this current four-game winning streak, throwing 13 touchdowns and zero picks.

Defense: OLB Jermaine Cunningham

The entire defense was phenomenal, with honorable mentions to CB Devin McCourty, ILB Brandon Spikes and S James Sanders, each of whom hauled in an interception. Cunningham was on the field often and finally made the difference coming off the edge that the Pats had been expecting. He had five tackles, one for a loss, and a QB hit. Cunningham helped the defensive front keep Mark Sanchez under pressure.

Special teams: WR Matt Slater

Slater doesn't go on the field for offensive plays but makes his presence felt as a special-teams contributor. He had three special-teams tackles and helped the Patriots keep Jets return man Brad Smith in check. PK Shayne Graham should also get mentioned for hitting a field goal into the wind to start off the scoring and for his kickoffs.
